We took a break from Cushchine Cottage today and ventured off to a nearby lavender farm, where we wandered through the gardens eating lavender honey ice cream with the mountains behind us covered in snow.

Mike, Amber and Ediza's journey around the globe
Our trip
We're the Morris family (Mike, Amber and Ediza) and we've officially broken out of the box (not that we were ever really in it to begin with). First, we spent three months visiting llama farms throughout New Zealand (Amber trains them). After that, we headed to China, where Mike ran a marathon on the Great Wall. We then traveled across Europe for six weeks before landing on the East Coast. We've now made it back full circle to California — where the adventure continues. And 13 years later, our journey continues (with the addition of Gus) to Maui.
